    Description of Project:

    The general objective of this short-term training was to acquaint trainees with the know-how and skills of preparing strategic plan. More specifically the purpose of the training was to explain define and explain basic concepts of strategic planning and management, to identify main components of Strategic Planning and Management, analysis operating environment of non-profits organizations, identify strategic issues, adapt strategy or a set of strategies in non-profit organizations, implement and evaluate strategies in the context of non-profits organizations.

  • Revision of Strategic Plan for Community Care Structures and Developing Guidelines with Action Plans for Strengthening CCS in Line with National Social Protection Policy

    Description of Project:

    The objective of this work package is to conduct situational analysis on community care structures in the five regions; Revision of the Draft Framework for Community care Structures and Develop Implementation guideline for CCCs and develop Capacity-strengthening action plan for CCCs. This involves holistic view of CCCs program, looking at each essential element.

    The study will look at the different programs run by community care structures including; cash transfer, Social Insurance system and promotion;  accessibility of fair and quality healthcare, education and social welfare services; Legal Protection and Support for Citizens Exposed to Violence and Oppression; public work programs and safety net and other programmes.

  • Development of Professional Standards for Subject Teachers 2013

    Description of Project:

    The major purpose of this assignment was to develop national standards for fifteen subject specific teachers. According to the TOR, the standards address the country’s philosophy of quality education provision.  Within this framework, critical issues such as the teaching profession, the teachers’ academic, professional and personal profiles were exhaustively treated so as to arrive at national standards for each subject-teacher’s competency.
