Frontieri has taken the initiative in conducting, nationally representative telephone-based surveys, under our project entitled “Preliminary Assessment of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Ethiopia”. The major objective of the survey was to assess the current awareness, knowledge and behavior of people in Ethiopia and to identify the key gaps and issues that need to be addressed to mitigate the negative impacts of the pandemic using self-reported data.
Based on the national survey, four foremost insights are produced dealing with ‘Knowledge and attitude towards COVID-19, ‘Adoption of Preventive practices for COVID-19, “Implications of COVID-19 on Income” and “Perception of risks and impacts of COVID-19 among the public in Ethiopia
The findings of the survey are aimed to provide insights for potential interventions by concerned governmental and nongovernmental organizations.”
