Frontieri has taken the initiative in conducting a nationally representative telephone-based survey under the project entitled “Preliminary Assessment of Effects of COVID-19 Pandemic in Ethiopia”. The major objective of the survey was to assess awareness, knowledge, and behavior of people in Ethiopia at the time of the survey and to identify the key gaps and issues that need to be addressed to mitigate the negative impacts of the pandemic. The findings of the survey are shared with key offices including the Prime Minister Office, Ministry of Health, and Ethiopian Public Health Institute, and received positive feedbacks. Experts of Frontieri produced four insight papers based on the survey outcome (link to the insights is provided below).
