Frontieri prioritizes working on social norms and values that are strong drivers of various harmful traditional practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), early marriage, and marriage by abduction, to mention a few. Social norms are the unwritten rules that guide human behavior and exist at the interplay between behaviors, beliefs, and expectancies. Given the vital role that social norms play in both continuation and elimination of these harmful practices, Frontieri puts social norms and values as one of the thematic areas.
